Colorado State Board of Accountancy
Audience:
Certified Public Accountants licensed by the State of Colorado are required to earn 80 Continuing Education (CE) credits during each two-year renewal period.
Applicable Courses:
The Colorado State Board of Accountancy does not give prior approval for CE courses, nor does it have provider agreements. Responsibility for selecting an acceptable course rests solely on the certificate holder. A specific course will qualify as acceptable if it is a formal program of learning which contributes directly, at a professional level, to the competence of a certificate holder in public practice.
Cost:
No additional fees*
Number of CPE Credits Awarded Per Course:
One CE is awarded for every 50 minutes of successfully completed appropriate StaffKit course work. For example, if a course takes four (4) hours to complete, the number of CE hours earned would be 4x60/50= 4.8. CPE hours should be rounded down to a whole number. Using this formula, four (4) CE credits would be awarded for a four (4) hour StaffKit course.
For the average completion time of any StaffKit course, visit our course catalog. Select the category of courses you are interested in and then select the specific course. Average course completion time is listed under "Time" on each course catalog page.
Availability:
Due to state regulations, CE credit can only be awarded to students taking courses directly from www.StaffKit.com or via a StaffKit' reseller who links students to www.StaffKit.com. To find out if CE credits are available to you, please contact us.
